Donation Policy & Request Form
Thank you for thinking of us to help with your fundraising activity, we welcome your request! Our family has had roots in Fort Wayne for over 100 years and we are proud to call this city home. We have a very strong commitment to giving back to our community and are grateful to be able to provide assistance to those in need by way of charitable donations. Our first priority is to donate to events which will directly impact families in Allen County, although we may also donate to a broader needs base when able or when we have fewer than normal local requests.
A wide variety of organizations contact us every month, and while we think fundraisers for schools, school programs, and extra-curricular activities are important and represent real needs, we feel a higher sense of responsibility to help meet the more critical needs of the community such as those relating to food, shelter, clothing, medical assistance, financial hardships, etc. Our giving is typically in the form of gift cards or services, as well as support of (vetted) local scrip programs. We generally do not pursue sponsorship opportunities or advertise in bulletins and calendars (etcetera) as we consider those to be more marketing motivated rather than charitable in nature.
Since donation requests are reviewed on a monthly basis, we ask you to please try and make your request at least 6 – 8 weeks in advance. This will ensure there is sufficient time for us to respond prior to your event.
